Livingscape is a sustainably-focused
garden, kitchen and outdoor store. We promote
what we call "engaged living" ... that is, engaged
with place (the Pacific NW), food, and people
(friends, family, community). We strive to be
sustainable in our practices, affordable in our
pricing and exceptional in our knowledge and customer
support.
On the garden side, we sell natives, edibles,
and insect & bird friendly ornamentals. Our natives
give a home that feel of the NW, while our edibles
put tasty food on your table and our nature-friendly
ornamentals bring beauty and wonder.
We follow the edibles into the kitchen and sell
cookware, canning supplies and various kitchen
items. We also offer many empowering cooking and
canning classes. Our goal is to assist you in
sharing the food bounty of your yard or our regional
with those around you.
On the outdoor side, we offer equipment to get
you, whether age 3 or 83, out and about in this
marvelous landscape of ours, and we recognize
that many of us wear the same clothes for a day
hike, yard work or just bopping around town.
Thank you for your interest and support. We look
forward to seeing you soon.

Volunteer at Livingscape
Do you have some free time to share? We are often
looking for people who can help out with occasional
projects or on-going activities. Whether a novice
or an expert, we would welcome your talents and
time as a volunteer. This is a great way to learn
more about plants, spend time with our exceptional
staff, empower customers, and share in your interest
for what we do.
Please note that we sponsor gardens at Boise Eliot
and Humboldt schools in our neighborhood. We seek
volunteer assistance in maintaining these gardens
- mostly vegetable beds and some native plantings,
particularly in the summer month. Our preference
is for volunteers that live in the neighborhood,
though all are welcome.
If you are interested, please send
us an email and type "volunteer"
in the re line. Thanks!
