This is a very kid-friendly event. Kids in particular seem to be experts on the cider press and have indefatiguable energy for turning the cranks.

The apple varieties in the fresh tasting are from the Portland Farmers Market, yet are of varieties that are on sale at Livingscape.

Similarly, the six garlic varieties in the roasted garlic tasting are of varieties that are on sale at the store. Now, incidentally, is the time to plant garlic. The bread used for "palette cleansing" between garlic varieties is generously donated by Grand Central Baking.

Additional food and drink will be available.
