Our purchasing philosophy:  At Livingscape, we encourage "engaged living" ... engaged with place, people & food. To this end, in our purchasing decisions, we look for goods that are affordably or reasonably priced, of very good quality and, if and as possible, locally and/or sustainably made. For example, our cooking utensils are made here in Portland and our knives, stovetop cookware, and pressure canners are made in the U.S. We balance these criteria, however, to ensure affordable and reasonable pricing.
